Knee Deep Vintage and Anna Cerniglia are excited to our first art opening at Knee Deep Vintage. On October 18th, we are excited to have our first art show displaying Kyle Harter, Kyle LaValley, Joseph Rynkiewicz, and Joseph Miller and 25% off.

Kyle Harter is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer whose work has been published in Chicago's UR Magazine, The Reader, Innerview Magazine, and Shades Magazine (online). In addition, Kyle has exhibited his silk screening skills, designing posters for several Chicago bands. His work has been described as “simple gestures that translate to great catastrophic wonderful messy thoughts and feelings.”

Kyle LaValley is currently going to Columbia College working towards a photography degree. Kyle dabs into a subculture of photography called “party photography”,a recent popular genre of photography through “The Cobra Snake” or Merlin Bronques. Kyle has also been contributing to this growth for a few years, providing snapshots of partygoers immersing themselves into the Chicago social scene. Come check out her more intimate work, black and white 4x5 portraits of the 77’s subculture.

Joseph Rynkiewicz makes photographs as well as drawings. His photographs chronicle his family life in transition and the relationships involved. His drawings are often humorously influenced by media outlets and social networking websites. He says, "Drawing for me is a a way to rethink the mundane. I pull subjects from newspapers, magazines, the internet and everyday situations and draw them, removing them from their original context to reconsider the meaning of their environment."

Joseph Miller, another well rounded artist, and teacher, has taken on a different project circulating around paper airplanes. Joseph has made large scale paper airplanes with paper mache that will be circulating those through the store.

Join us for the opening
Refreshments will be served and everything will be 25% off.
